Description
Townsends, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor at our Crestwood Farms further processing facility located in Mocksville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
As a leader in further processing, this position will supervise Quality Assurance employees on a day-by-day basis. Implement production specifications, standards, tests and sampling proceduires. Prepares related reports and recommends solutions. Trains and evalutes staff. Other duites as required or needed within the postion.
Qualifications
One to three years pxperience preferred in Quality Assurance in poultry processing plant. Demonstarted successful supervisory skills. Advanced degree preferred (BS Poultry or Food Science or related field) or minimum of 2 years supervisor experience in poultry or related field. Physically fit to visit all areas of plant. Must have good written and oral communication skills.
